Bed and Breakfast in Shropshire

Whitfield House, a large 1920’s residence, is uniquely located in the heart of Ludlow and the lovely Shropshire countryside. Recently renovated, the house has retained all of its original Arts and Crafts features.  Set in two acres of garden overlooking Ludlow Castle and Mortimer Forest the house offers an escape to the vast countryside, yet still only a few minutes walk to the centre of medieval Ludlow.

Opened in 2011, our guests have described a stay with us as a ‘welcoming, comfortable and unique retreat’.  We have three guest bedrooms and  guest  areas to sit, read, relax and enjoy the ambience of the house.  In the summer you are welcome enjoy the gardens, whereas in winter, the roaring fires in the oak rooms will provide you with a cosy refuge to sit and read, listen to music or plan your excursions in Shropshire.
